General information

All rooms are accessible by lift (and stairs) to the four floors: 24 hours a day. In addition, the front and back entrances are equipped with a ramp.

By placing a reservation, you automatically agree to the house rules.

It is not possible to pay with 200 euro or 500 euro notes.

The surcharge is €20 per night. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per room/suite.

We do not charge a supplement for assistance dogs.

Check-in is daily between 15:00 and 18:00.

From 18:00 onwards, check-in is only possible via self-check-in.

Reception is staffed daily from 09:00 to 18:00.

Check-out is no later than 11.00 am.

You can book a parking permit with us in advance for 11 euros per car per night. It is best to book in advance to avoid disappointment! We need your license plate number for this.

You can park with our parking permit at the front of the hotel (on the Boulevard) or at the rear of the hotel (Deltaweg, Kenau Hasselaarstraat and the P-Cinema car park next to the cinema). In the P-Cinema car park, you will also find parking spaces for charging your car electrically.

Holders of a disabled parking card can also only use a hotel parking permit if they want to park on the Boulevard (front) or directly at the rear (Deltaweg) of the hotel. The general disabled parking spaces on the Boulevard have expired; parking here is no longer permitted.

Parking at the rear: If you choose to park your car at the rear, you can enter the hotel through our back door, which is located on Deltaweg.

Parking on the Boulevard (front): If you choose to park your car on the Boulevard, please note that the Boulevard is only accessible to vehicles that have an exemption (parking permit).

Hotel guests who use a parking permit or intend to use a parking permit at check-in have access for driving and parking on the Boulevard. There is a grace period of 1.5 hours between entering the Boulevard and registering license plate.

It is compulsory to inform our hotel (no later than at check-in) if you bring e-bikes during your stay in our hotel. You must indicate this when booking or let us know by phone or email.

For safety reasons (battery fire), it is not allowed to take the battery of your e-bike into the hotel room/suite; not even to charge it. (see house rules) If this house rule is not complied with, the guest is fully liable for all resulting (consequential) damage in the event of calamities.

In order to avoid unpleasant situations, a safer charging location has been created. On the ground floor (inside the rear entrance) there is a battery box especially for e-bike batteries; bike batteries can be safely charged in this box.

We have a covered and lockable bicycle shed at the rear of the hotel (full=full); you cannot reserve a space. It is also possible to park bicycles at the bicycle shed (outside).

Bike rental is possible in the vicinity.

House rules

House rules of Beachfront Hotel in Vlissingen

  • All instructions from hotel staff, related to house rules, must be followed.
  • We respect the privacy of our guests, but we are authorised to enter your room if the house rules are not followed.
  • When booking a room/suite, you automatically agree to all house rules.
  • Valid ID must be shown at check-in. Check-in is possible from the age of 18. Persons under 18 years of age must have permission from a parent/guardian and must be able to prove that they have permission when asked.
  • It is not possible to pay with 200 and 500 euro notes in our hotel.
  • It is not allowed to rent a room in your name without staying in the room yourself.
  • It is not allowed to receive paid guests in your room/suite for the purpose of sexual activities.
  • Damage, loss or destruction of Beachfront Hotel property will result in immediate removal, liability and/or reporting to the police.
  • In case of fire, remain calm. Report fire to reception and/or punch the nearest fire alarm.
  • In case of fire, do not use the lifts under any circumstances.
  • In case of a general fire alarm, leave the building immediately.
  • The hotel should be quiet between 11pm and 7am. Noise pollution (loud music, unruly behaviour or noise of any kind) will not be tolerated.
  • Please respect the maximum number of persons per room or suite. For fire safety reasons, no more than the stated number of people may stay in a room. If you do stay in a room with more persons than the maximum number allowed, we ask you to leave the accommodation immediately. Fees paid will not be refunded.
  • It is not allowed to receive persons other than the bookers in our hotel. If other guests do stay in the room we will ask you to leave the hotel immediately.
  • You can check out until 11 am, unless otherwise agreed. After this time, we can enter and check the room and vacate it if necessary. We reserve the right to charge extra for using the room later than 11am.
  • You must leave the room in the same state as you found it.
  • Partly for your own safety, there are cameras in various places within the building. Everyone who is in our hotel consents to recordings being made. In the event of calamities and/or incidents, these recordings may be shown to third parties as supporting material.
  • It is forbidden to film or photograph employees or other guests inside our hotel.
  • Lost property must be handed in at reception.
  • The hotel is not responsible for loss or theft of your belongings.
  • The management e/o persons working for the hotel cannot be held liable for any injury e/o material or immaterial damage suffered by visitors to the hotel.
  • Smoking is prohibited in all our rooms/suites and public areas.
    (such as cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapes or other tobacco) If we find that people do smoke in the room, we will charge a cleaning fee of 175 euros. If the fire alarm goes off due to smoking in the room or negligence we will charge 275 euros.
  • Taping e/o removing fire alarms or otherwise defusing smoke alarms is prohibited. We will charge a fine of 150 euros for taping, removing or rendering smoke detectors harmless.
  • If the fire alarm goes off due to your actions and the fire brigade has to make an unnecessary call, we will pass on the fire brigade’s call-out charges to you. The minimum charge is 275 euros.
  • It is forbidden to block emergency exits or use them as normal entrances and exits.
  • It is not allowed to consume, use, trade or carry narcotics. When using and dealing drugs, the management will involve the police and may proceed to expulsion without refund.
  • It is not allowed to use e/o bring nitrous oxide during your visit to our hotel. If nitrous oxide is found in the room, you will be asked to leave the hotel immediately. Paid charges will not be refunded. Any remaining containers of nitrous oxide cannot be collected and will be destroyed.
  • No alcohol will be sold to persons under the age of 18.
  • It is not allowed to take hotel property outside the building. If you wilfully damage hotel property, you may be held liable for repair and or renewal costs.
  • It is not allowed to burn (tea) candles, incense, oil or other products (see also smoking ban) in the room/suite and/or make party decorations. If party decorations are found, we will charge a cleaning fee of 50 euros.
  • (Domestic) animals are not allowed without the consent of the hotel.
  • Dogs are welcome. See rules under ‘house rules for dogs’.

  • Smoking is only allowed on the balcony of the sea-facing rooms. It is not allowed to throw cigarette butts or similar down/over the balcony. Care should also be taken to ensure that no smoke enters the room/ suite so that it remains smoke-free.
  • It is not allowed to hang (bath) towels or otherwise over the balcony railing.

House rules for dogs

Most dogs love to be active; running and playing with their owner. The beach is of course the perfect place for this.

Given our location, your beloved four-legged friend is very welcome in our hotel.

Our location offers many possibilities with the beach right in front of the door and in the vicinity.

During the season from 1 May to 16 September, dogs are not allowed on the Boulevardbeach and Nollebeach, but they are allowed on the nearby beaches of Zwanenburg and Westduin. Leash rules can be provided by the hotel.

To make your stay and the stay of other guests as pleasant as possible, a number of house rules for dogs have been drawn up.

  • Dogs are welcome all year round.
  • Maximum 2 dogs per room/suite.
  • There is a surcharge of € 20 per night for bringing a dog.
  • If you bring your dog to our hotel, please indicate this when making the reservation.
  • Before entering the hotel, check that your dog is dry and doesn’t leave any mud tracks.
  • Make sure your dog does not disturb other guests; not everyone likes dogs or enjoys a friendly doggy greeting.
  • Keep your dog on a leash in and around the hotel.
  • Please clean up dog waste in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. You will be given a dog bag at check-in.
  • Accidents inside the hotel should also be cleaned up (and reported) by the dog owner.
  • Before entering the hotel, please check that your dog is dry and does not leave any sand/mud marks.
  • Dogs are not allowed to sit on our hotel beds and armchairs.
  • It is not allowed to leave the dog alone in the hotel room when you are not in the hotel yourself; even if your dog is used to being alone at home, on strange territory and with unfamiliar noises a dog may react very differently. We would like to prevent nuisance caused by barking dogs.
  • For damage to the interior, the owner of the dog will be held liable for the repair costs.
  • If we have to compensate other guests due to nuisance caused by your pet, these costs will be charged to the dog owner.
  • We reserve the right to charge extra cleaning costs in case of excessive soiling of the room.
  • In case of persistent noise nuisance, such as barking, we reserve the right to remove the dog from the hotel. Removal due to nuisance does not entitle you to a refund.
  • As a hotel, we are accommodating, but bringing more than two dogs is not allowed. The purpose of these house rules is to make both your stay and the stay of our other guests as pleasant as possible, so that we can continue to welcome four-legged guests in the future.

Conditions

Booking conditions:

  • Payment for 100% must be made no later than ten days before arrival date.
  • If you bring your dog(s) (for a fee), you must mention this at the time of booking and adhere to the dog house rules.
  • When booking a room/suite, you automatically agree to all house rules.

Cancellation policy:

  • Cancellations can be made free of charge up to four days before arrival date. You pay the total price of the reservation if you cancel within four days before arrival date. For cancellations from four days before arrival date, the tenant will owe 100% of the total rental price to Beachfront Hotel.
  • If you do not show up, you will pay the total price of the reservation.
  • If you use the option (during the booking process) to cancel flexibly (up to three rooms), you can cancel the reservation free of charge up to 12 hours one day before arrival date. For any reason.
  • Different cancellation conditions apply when booking five rooms or more. (see cancellation conditions from five rooms). If cancelling five rooms/suites or more (matched group), cancellation is free up to fourteen days before arrival date. If cancelling one or more of these rooms from 14 days before arrival date, the tenant will owe 100% of the total rent to Beachfront Hotel.
